Housing Minister of Azad Kashmir Murtaza Gilani confirmed that 12 people died in the blast.

Besides, a noted religious scholar Mufti Kifayat Hussain said that at least five people were killed and 54 others injured in the blast.

Meanwhile, the Army took control of the area after the blast.

Muzaffarabad Deputy Commissioner Chaudhry Imtiaz said that 81 people were killed in the attack. Out of 81 injured in the blast, 10 are in critical state.
